Beachbody Ultimate Reset Review – Week 1

Haven’t heard of the Ultimate Reset from Beachbody yet? Here is my week 1 review on the reset, what it is, and what to expect if you decide to take on the challenge.

They say the first week is the hardest. I would probably agree! Week 1 of the Ultimate Reset was very challenging but it really did a lot for me in the process.

WHAT IS THE ULTIMATE RESET?

The Beachbody Ultimate Reset is a 21 day detox or reset program for your body. Check out my post that goes more in-depth on the reset – ULTIMATE RESET REVIEW.

The idea of the reset is to take your body, that is consistently absorbing toxins and truly reset it back to balance.

The Beachbody Ultimate Reset is the all natural alternative to harsh cleanses that use laxatives, starvation, and other harmful stuff, and helps return the body to optimal health more naturally.

The reset uses 6 supplements and a progressive meal plan to keep you from starving.

 

WEEK 1 REVIEW

So they say that week on is the hardest. Well this has been a big challenge for me!

 

SUPPLEMENTS

There are just 4 supplements in first phase. I found that these were pretty easy to handle.

Mineralize

Oxygenize

Optimize

Alkalinize

Mineralize – Helps add natural minerals needed by the body. Pretty easy just a pinch in Distilled water.

 

Oxygenize – Helps provide supplemental oxygen to the body. Easy again just drops in your water.

 

Optimize- Promotes healthy metabolism and effective body functions. These are actually capsules that are easy to swollow.

 

Alkalinize- Helps maintain alkalinity. Now this one was tough. I found it hard taking a shot of this for the first very days. It does however get  little easier as time goes on.

Food

The food in the Beachbody Ultimate Reset was probably the most challenge portion of the first 7 days.

I think mainly for me it was the fact that it was hard to prepare everything and get it close to what the recipe called for. Being a bachelor cooking isn’t my strong suit.  If you enjoy cooking then this is right up your alley.

The taste of the food was very good and the first week, animal proteins are allowed. Eggs, Chicken, and Salmon are all in the first week. Although the portions are limited they are still used in this week.

The hardest thing was really diving into the veggies. I haven’t always been the best veggie guy so even though some meals were good, a few were choke downs. Like the Lentil Lime Salad, nasty!

 

Results

Overall, I feel really good after this first week. The first two days were hard because of the adjustment to the limit of sugar that I was having. I LOVE MY SUGAR.

I am currently down 6 pounds in 7 days.
